Christina Roberts joins the MSW faculty in 2024 as the Upper Level Humanties Teacher. Christina is joining MSW after working at Jamaica Village School for the past few years teaching both the lower level students as well as English for the older students at the school.
Prior to working at Jamaica she worked in Twin Rivers Supervisory Union as a long term substitute teacher working with 5th and 6th graders. Prior to that she taught Social Studies and Language Arts at Okemo Mountain School. Before moving to Vermont she taught at Mountain Youth Academy as a multi-grade history teacher working with students 8-17 years old.
Christina brings to the MSW Faculty an ability to adapt quickly to a fast-paced environment, experience and certifications in working with a variety of student needs. Her experience has given her a strong foundation of fostering social and emotional growth tailored to each student. Christina holds her B.S. in Elementary Education from Appalachian State University and holds her State of Vermont Teaching Licensure.
Christina loves the outdoors and is excited to infuse it into her classes. Christina lives in South Londonderry and is excited to get out on the snow in the winter with students during JISP.
