Junior Instructional Snowsports Program (JISP)

The Junior Instructional Snowsports Program (JISP) allows students to ski and ride on beautiful Stratton Mountain. It is one of the favorite programs among many students at MSW. JISP allows all students the opportunity to enjoy winter snowsports and is made possible by the generosity of Stratton Mountain Resort and family volunteers.

JISP takes place on 9 Tuesday afternoons from January through March. Additionally, JISP allows students to ski or ride at Stratton on some Sundays with their family. Our JISP dates are marked annually on the MSW school calendar and dictated by Stratton Mountain Resort.

On JISP days The Mountain School follows a modified class schedule with dismissal at noon. There is a JISP bus to the mountain or students can be picked up by families at school.
